our cost.

professional speakers addressing topics of concern to landlords, e.g.,
city codes, legal and tax information, and legislative updates.
- A monthly newsletter
containing invaluable information to landlords, such as screening tips,
maintenance issues, and much more.
- A listing of properties to
buy, sell, or trade at the monthly meetings.
- Members
can purchase new appliances through Sears contract sales at
substantial reduction in price.
- Credit checks, full service
tenant screening and other services available to members through our
newsletter advertisers.
- Networking with member
landlords experiencing the same problems you do and acquire answers to
situations you are currently facing.
- Web site
available for members to advertise their properties for rent
and save 2/3rd's over newspaper rates. The Association
advertises in The Examiner under "Houses For
Rent," "Duplexes For Rent" and
"Apartments For Rent" listing our web site and a
phone number for perspective tenants to contact our member's
rental ads and phone numbers.
Annual dues are
$50.00.
Membership meetings
are held the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the First
National Bank (formerly the Bank of Jacomo), located at 10801 E. 23rd
St., Independence, Missouri, three blocks west of Sterling.
